The Country Market's tagline is "home-made, hand-crafted, home-grown." At the Country Market, a cooperative of local producers, you can find fresh, high-quality local eggs, straight from the farm to your table. These eggs are known for their superior quality, making them a favourite among shoppers.

Seasonal fruit and vegetables

The vegetables on offer at the market have been grown locally on smallholdings and in gardens. They are harvested fresh to come to market, so are always seasonal (sorry, no tomatoes mid-winter!). Some are grown without chemical input.

Kitchen-cooked ready meals, quiches and pies

This local producers' cooperative offers a mouth-watering selection of kitchen-cooked ready meals, quiches, and pies. Crafted with care and the finest local ingredients, these dishes provide a convenient and flavourful option for those craving home-cooked quality.

Hand-crafted flower arrangements, cut flowers & garden-grown plants

Discover a beautiful selection of hand-crafted flower arrangements, freshly cut flowers, and garden-grown plants. Plants are grown locally by skilled gardeners, as are the cut flowers, so no air miles are involved. Flower arrangements are freshly made for each market, bringing vibrant colour and natural beauty to any space.

Unique handmade crafts including cards, jewellery, hand-knitted garments

You will find all manner of crafts at the market - things for your house, for your family and gifts and cards for every occasion. The crafts comply with trading standard where they apply, such as fire safety requirements.  Material used in production are either new or good quality 'up-cycled'.

All our food is freshly prepared in local, council-registered home kitchens by experienced cooks with food safety certifications. We use the finest local ingredients and avoid artificial additives, ensuring the highest quality. None of our products are pre-frozen, so you can freeze them at home if needed. Our producers are on hand at the market to answer any questions, and many can cater to specific dietary requirements upon request.
